Masa is friends with Futa and Hiroki – he surfs and snowboards with the guys regularly. He is the head of Fukushima Fire Department and gave us a detailed insight into 2011 tsunami and nuclear accident in Fukushima.  Masa was part of the team of first responders to go into the destroyed nuclear power-plant. Masa’s story provides deep insight the disaster had on Fukushima. His re-telling of the events are powerful in the Aizu Film.
